The MCEAS Dissertation Fellowship Program The application deadline is 3 February 2020. Since 1978,some 300 advanced graduate students from universities across North America and Europe have received dissertation fellowships from the McNeil Center. At least eight new fellows will be appointed for the 2020-2021 academic year, most for nine-month.
Getty Predoctoral and Postdoctoral Fellowships are intended for emerging scholars to complete work on projects related to the Getty Research Institute's annual research theme. Recipients are in residence at the Getty Research Institute or Getty Villa, where they pursue research projects, complete their dissertations, or expand dissertation for publication.
Fellowships for continuing students, intended to support a year of dissertation writing and research, are awarded by internal competition. Each includes a generous stipend and tuition remission. The Graduate School’s Arnold, Bing, and Oakley Fellowships are awarded annually to the university’s most promising Ph.D. candidates, with one or more award often going to students from the English.
